Choosing a dance studio starts with a practical question: can you picture yourself returning regularly? For students from West New York, Weehawken, Hoboken, Edgewater, Fort Lee and nearby communities, Imperial offers a starting point at Port Imperial and training by appointment.
Choose the program that matches your goal
Adult ballroom and Latin classes introduce movement and musical timing in a shared setting. Private lessons offer individual feedback for social dancing, technical improvement, showcases and Pro-Am competition.
Couples preparing a first dance can explore wedding choreography tailored to their music, venue and experience. Children begin in Kids ages 4–6 or Youth ages 7–13.
Confirm the location before travelling
Our Port Imperial address is 17 Avenue at Port Imperial, West New York, NJ 07093. We welcome students from surrounding towns; that does not mean a class runs in every town listed. Check the locations page and your booking confirmation for the address of your lesson.
Start with a trial
Book a trial lesson before joining any group class. It gives you time to meet an instructor, discuss your goals and choose the appropriate level. No partner or previous dance experience is required to enquire.
Build a routine you can maintain
Check the current schedule, allow travel time and speak with your instructor about lesson frequency. Adults taking private lessons consistently each week receive appropriate group classes complimentary. Kids and Youth taking consistent private lessons receive the same group benefit.
View lessons and booking or ask us to recommend your first step. Lessons are by appointment; Sundays are closed.
